Ms. Ng Cheng Cheng
Ng Cheng Cheng, born in the Pearl of The Orient, Malaysia is an experienced and enterprising businesswoman. She has over 20 years of experience in business operations, finance, investment as well as property development.
Ms Ng is a distinguished alumna, having earned her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of London. She also holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. Her professional accreditations include being a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA) with CPA Australia Ltd, as well as a Chartered Accountant certified by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
Ms Ng holds the position of Director in Valence Corporation Limited, a Hong Kong incorporated company involving in international trade for food ingredients, investment in high technological projects and investment consultation in Malaysia.
In Malaysia, she sits on the Board of Directors of THC Sdn Bhd and Tiga Gajah Cho Heng Sdn Bhd. THC is one of the largest dry food distributors in Malaysia of more than 50 years with ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) System and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for Food and ISO 9001 Quality Management System accreditations while TGCH is an international accepted Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000 certified rice flour manufacturer of 35 years in Malaysia.
Ms Ng is also the founder and Director of Spacegen Sdn Bhd, a satellite remote sensing (“SRS”) technology and big data analytics company leveraging the integration and convergence of computer science, artificial intelligence (“AI”) and state-of-the-art SRS imagery technology to unlock significant value for its clients.
Her philosophy in life is to work hard and play harder and Ms Ng was awarded the winner of the 2018 Malaysian Chamber Of Commerce (Hong Kong & Macau)’s Outstanding Member Award. She has been serving as the Deputy Chairlady of MAYCHAM's Executive Committee (EXCO) since 2018, and concurrently held the position of Organising Chairperson for the thriving Merdeka Ball 2018 in Hong Kong.
Ms. Ng's dedication to supporting the less fortunate has earned her a prestigious appointment as a member of the Board of Governors by the Federation School for Special Education - Secondary (formerly known as the Federation School for the Deaf) in Penang.
In light of her steadfast dedication to supporting the underprivileged, Ms. Ng took proactive steps to organise a charity drive through MAYCHAM for the Orang Asli community in Malaysia amidst the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
