Mr Matthew Thew

Matthew Thew is a Malaysian finance professional from Bagan Serai, Perak. He is currently an Associate Director in the Financial Institutions Group, Global Banking at UBS AG Hong Kong, where he specialises in M&A advisory for banks, insurers, asset managers, and consumer finance companies across Southeast Asia. Prior to UBS, he was an Associate at PwC Deals Advisory Hong Kong.Matthew holds a BBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Hong Kong, graduating with Dean's List honours and a NEAEF Fellowship. A former MAYCHAM Students Trust Fund recipient himself, he now gives back to the community, actively contributing to fundraising efforts for the same fund that once supported him. He also serves as MAYCHAM Young Professionals Representative, organising events and initiatives for the Young Professionals membership community.
