The Malaysian Chamber of Commerce Physical Check-up Guideline

1st January 2024 – 31st December 2024

Appointment Procedure

To ensure the medical check-up can be carried out most effectively, please observe the following points:

  1. Please contact Fullerton Health (852) 2869 8901/ 2869 8905 or (852) 6528 0620 (for WhatsApp only) to make an appointment for your medical checkup. When making an appointment, please identify yourself as an “The Malaysian Chamber of Commerce of Physical Checkup – Eligible MAYCHAM”, provide your personal information, and choose your medical checkup plan (Date and time).
  2. Please make the booking at least 7 working days before the check-up.
  3. If you cannot attend the appointment, you are required to phone the clinic 24 hours in advance for cancellation.
  4. Please arrive at the clinic 5 minutes before the scheduled appointment time. If you are late 30 minutes or above the scheduled time without prior notice, Fullerton Clinics may release your bookings to other clients and your quota of consultation will be cancelled.
  5. The checkup report will be ready for follow-up consultation within 14 working days.
  6. When the checkup report is finished, clinic will contact you for doctor report consultation arrangement.
  7. There will not be clinic services provided when Typhoon Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted or Black Rainstorm Warning is in force. Reschedule of the appointment will be arranged for you.
  8. For all checkup items that required to refer to public / private hospital due to special situation, all the charges should be at patient’s own expense.
  9. In case of any dispute that it may cause, the decision of Fullerton Healthcare (Hong Kong) Private Limited will be final.
  10. For any queries, please call a clinic at (852) 2869 8901 or 2869 8905.
  11. Fullerton Healthcare (Hong Kong) Private Limited decision in this respect shall be final and binding.
  12. If there is any inconsistence or ambiguity between the English version and the Chinese version, the English version shall prevail.

Notes

  1. The member shall present HKID and membership card upon registration, while the dependent is required to present a copy of his/her spouse’s membership card to enjoy the offer.
  1. No food or beverages are to be taken 8 - 10 hours before medical checkup. However, plain water intake is permissible.
  1. Regular medication for the heart & high blood pressure are allowed. Delay other routine medication/ supplements until you have completed the tests that require fasting. E.g. insulin for diabetes.
  1. During the medical checkup:
  •  
  • Pap Smear test

Avoid booking any appointment which will fall on your menstruation period. Avoid intravaginal drugs for 1 week before the examination.

Avoid douching and sexual intercourse for 1 day before the examination.

  • X-Ray test

A woman who is pregnant or suspected to be pregnant is not suitable to take any X-Ray test. Consult our doctor if the test was done within the preceding 6 months.

  • Stool test

Please prepare the stool specimen in a clear stool container and send it to the laboratory on the checkup day. Change your appointment if you are/will be menstruating (The stool test can only be conducted 5 days before and 5 days after your period)

  • Urine test

Please obtain a sterile container from our center. Pass urine for 2 seconds then collect the midstream portion of the urine with the sterile container until half.
